More enterprises are allowed to export seafood to Russia

Earlier, Russia has allowed 7 different seafood enterprises of Vietnam (including 5 units processed fish products, frozen basa and 2 processing unit frozen shrimp products) are exported to Russia after the import ban earlier this year. 2013, fishery exports of Vietnam to Russia reached 103.3 million.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, seafood exports 8 months of this year reached 4.95 billion USD, up 25.4% over the same period of 2013. In particular, the US remains the consumer market Vietnam's largest seafood, accounting for 22.8% of total export turnover of 8 months with approximately one billion US dollars, up 38.58% compared with the same period of 2013.
